What is the identity authentication service "3D Secure 2.0"?

3D Secure is an identity authentication system developed by Visa International to make credit card payments on the Internet safer. It is a global standard identity authentication method recommended by international credit card brands such as "VISA", "Mastercard", "JCB", "American Express" and "Diners Club".

With the introduction of "3D Secure 2.0", when making payments at the BONAVENTURA online store, depending on the credit card company's judgment, an identity authentication screen may be displayed and additional authentication such as entering a one-time password may be required. The method of additional authentication varies depending on the credit card issuer, so please follow the instructions on the screen to authenticate yourself.
