How to set a suitcase TSA lock

Please set the dial to the 3-digit PIN you set yourself.

(The factory setting is "0-0-0". When opening for the first time after purchase, set it to "0-0-0".)

Slide the slide button on the left side of the lock to the right.

The zipper pull will come out of the lock groove. Move the zipper pull all the way to open the suitcase.

【Caution】

If you try to force open the suitcase when the zipper is only partially open, the zipper may be damaged.

Please check that the dial change button is not pressed in.

【Caution】

If the dial change button remains pressed in, the lock will not be locked even if you change the dial number later. In this case, move the slide button to return the dial change button to its original position.
The number when the dial change button returns to its original position will be your PIN, so please make sure that the number you set is correct.

Zipper the suitcase and move the two zipper pulls closer to the lock.

Align the zipper pull with the groove of the lock and push it in firmly until you hear a click.

If the dial is not set to the correct PIN, you will not be able to insert the zipper pull into the groove of the lock. Be careful not to pinch your fingers or damage your fingernails when operating the device.

If the handle is not inserted properly, or if the slide button is moved partway after inserting the handle, the handle may not lock even when you try to lock it. Make sure to insert the handle securely.

If you rearrange the numbers on the dial, it will be locked and you will not be able to move the slide button.

Set the dial to your "current PIN" and unlock both the top and bottom.

Use the tip of a pen or similar to press the dial change button next to the dial. The button will remain pressed in.

【Caution】

If the dial is not set to the correct PIN, you cannot press the dial change button. Please note that forcing it in may cause a malfunction.

While holding down the dial change button, set the dial to your preferred three-digit number.

Move the slide button while being careful not to move the dial number you set. The dial change button will return to its unpressed state. This completes the setup.

【Caution】

To change your PIN, repeat steps 1 to 4.
It's a good idea to write down your PIN in your passport or notebook in case you forget it.

Use a thin object to push the reset button (small button) next to the dial all the way in.

Make sure the reset button is pressed in. If it doesn't, see the steps for "Slide type (with reset button 1)".

Choose your favorite 3-digit number and turn the dial to set it.

When you slide the part with the keyhole to the side, the reset button you pressed in step 1 will return to its original position and the setting will be complete.

Push the reset button (small button) next to the dial all the way in with a thin object.

While continuing to press the reset button, select your preferred three-digit number and turn the dial to set it.

Release your hand from the reset button and let it return to its original position to complete the setup.
